In 1949, the Frazer Nash High Speed was entere the 24 Hours of Le Mans. Driven by Harlod Aldington and Norman Culpan scored an astonishing third place overall.
After this excellent result the model was called Le Mans Replica instead High Speed.
The Frazer Nash Le Mans Replica was powered by the Bristol-BMW 2 liter engine derived from the BMW 328 for which Frazer Nash was licensed.
